The Tiki Hut Company was formed in March 2006. Nick saw that there was a shortage of custom tiki hut builders that offered advice and quality craftsmanship to their clients. He also decided to strive for excellence in the art of thatching and provide his clients with a unique product that was suited to each client's individual needs.
Nick Schrauwen is a licensed Roofing Contractor and General Contractor who also holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Cape Town in South Africa. He realized early on that he had a unique flair for design and planning, execution in construction and outstanding customer satisfaction. With 7 years of study obtaining his Technical Degree in Civil Engineering and his B.S. Degree combined with over 20 years of hands on experience, it is without a doubt that The Tiki Hut Company can turn imagination into works of art!
