Ipe Hardwood Deck Construction
Ipe hardwood has very small deflections and expansion rates and is easy to maintain. If left to the elements it will gray, so to keep its rich color, oiling will be necessary.
Pressure Treated Deck Construction
Pressure treated lumber decking is more economical but rates of shrinkage and deflection vary on the thickness and size of the planks used. Pressure treated lumber requires regular maintenance.
Synthetic & Composite Deck Construction
Synthetic or composite decking is being used more widely for areas such as boat docks, waterparks and decking exposed to chemicals, sun and water.
